Or rather what does it do and/or say? Any error msgs? If a game failed to launch past the initial install where it first tries to install 3rd party apps/runtimes, such as DirectX, Visual C++, etc. Then go to game properties > local files > verify game cache.
Which can help resolve common issues due to corrupted game files. Aside from this, having above the recommended system specs and ensuring your drivers are up to date should help get a game loading properly.
