I'm using LCD Smartie and XBMC4LCDSmartie plugin.
The LCD works fine, displays system info etc, but it doesn't seem to be able to find kodi. The string to see if xbmc/kodi is running is returning 0. My guess is that the json port has changed from the default 9090 but I've no idea how to check. Anyone experienced this or any ideas how to fix? Thanks Edit: after further digging I think that the plugin is looking for process xbmc.exe, which it obviously won't find. So unless anyone knows how to spoof this or edit plugins I'm fucked. The only thing i need is that LCD Smartie skips the other screens (that gives information about the machine that isn't neccesary for Kodi).
Or that it just keeps at Screen 2 when Kodi is active. I've found this picture, but some info is missing on those lines: By the way, what is that Kodi launcher? Leitch csd 5300 manual software. I've already changed the filename to XMBC.exe and it still works like a charm.
Except for the problem above. Edit: I've found it. Used the actions: if $dll(XBMC4LCDSmartie.dll,1,,) = 1 then GotoScreen(2) and if $dll(XBMC4LCDSmartie.dll,1,,) = 0 then DisableScreen(2) • • • • •. Very strange, what version of kodi are you running? If I change the bane to xbmc, it detects it running but doesn't pull any media information (if I query it returns -888 regardless of if it is playing something, paused or stopped) Good that you got your screen selection sorted, mine was also set to go to a pause screen, from memory I think the code for that was -777 Google launcher4kodi. It allows you to launch directly into kodi without launching the Windows shell and various other options, but I had problems getting it to boot straight to kodi as it couldn't then run the LCD (it can launch some programs and background services that you may need).
And if I set it boot into Windows normally then launch kodi my keyboard wouldn't work properly until I alt + tab out of kodi then back again. Still haven't figured out how to auto start kodi on boot and have a working LCD and keyboard. Everything worked perfectly on Windows 7 It allows various start up • • • • •. Sorry for the late response, don't come here a lot. I'm using version 16 (Jarvis).
I only get some basic information, like the menu i'm in and which track (audio / video) is played.
