Super Smash Bros. Melee is the sequel to Super Smash Bros.(game),and was released only on the Nintendo Gamecube. It was re-released as a Player's Choice title for selling many copies. It has sinse then became extremely popular among Smash fans and Fighting game fans alike. I'm mostly quoting myself here, but these are the best places I've found for getting roms in general and most of them have GameCube games. Vimm or The Eye are probably the best places for Melee, specifically, but the rest of the list is useful to have for future reference. • has never done me wrong. In fact, I don't think they even have ads, let alone viruses, and they have a collection of manual scans as well! Unfortunately, they only have US releases (and some fan-translated games, but no European or unpatched Japanese releases). • and its sister-site have incomplete collections, but seem to have a lot of stuff I can't find elsewhere.

Apparently NicoBlog even offers rather than having to download things individually, if you want. • is a newer site and growing very quickly. It has games from many obscure systems as well as the more well-known ones, and also seems to have decently fast download speeds. • offers both individual games and full sets for many different systems, as well as quite a few scans of different game manuals.

•, like nicoblog and cdromance, has quite a few games that I can't find in other places (though there's also a lot they don't have). • seems pretty good, but I haven't used it much, and they're completely missing PlayStation games. • 's file servers aren't actually offline yet; the games can still be downloaded by using the greasemonkey script offered. See my other comment if the sites above don't work out for you. There are a few others as well, the ones above are just my favorites.

Is also quite good, but their layout is a bit messy and I've come across a few games there that don't match their official checksums (indicating bad dumps and/or hacked roms). Is also pretty decent, but only use it if you have a good ad-blocker (I recommend uBlock Origin if you're on or ); they sometimes get those ads that try to pretend to be a download button, so it's best to put the kibosh on them before you end up downloading something you shouldn't. There are also a few good archives people have posted here but that aren't on conventional rom sites. By is awesome for anything Nintendo-related (though I think they're lacking European releases).

These ones for,, and are also pretty awesome and do have European releases (those comments were made by, but credited to AlvRo? I'm not sure if that's a user or a site, but couldn't find them/it either way). EDIT: actually recently created a post that has much more of those links. Glad I could help! You also may want to check out by and by (NOTE: that link is to an archive, since the original post was taken down; you'll probably need to copy the link's text and paste it into the address bar, as archive.org tries to send you to archives of everything, including stuff that's still up and not actually archived.

Try or instead if you can't get it to work). Oh, and I recently found, an excellent place for burnable Dreamcast CDIs (hacked images for burning to CDs and using on an actual system; if you're trying to play them in an emulator instead, the raw GDIs on are what you want). Replayers also has Genesis/MegaDrive, Sega CD, Sega 32x, and various old DOS/Windows games, but I haven't delved into those sections much. • • • • • • •.
